Hodag Run for Your Life

The YMCA of the Northwoods and Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to host the annual Hodag Run For Your Life featuring the 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, 5K Stroller, and the Free Kids Chase the Hodag.

The 10K Run, sponsored by Habush, Habush, & Rottier SC, will begin at 8:30AM, followed by the 5K Run/Walk and Stroller Division, sponsored by Superior Diesel.

A free youth race, Kids Chase the Hodag, sponsored by the Rhinelander Kiwanis Club, takes place at 10:00AM. The first 200 registered youth participants receive a free race t-shirt along and all participants receive a souvenir numbered race bib. Parents are encouraged to run with their children, push them in a stroller, or carry them on their shoulders.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Y’s Annual Support Campaign. The YMCA of the Northwoods is a charitable nonprofit organization. Our Annual Support Campaign is a Y initiative that provides financial assistance for programs and memberships to children and families in need. At the Y, no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. Funds raised through our Annual Support Campaign remain in our community and are made available to local youth, families, and adults.
