Hockeytown 5K Detroit, MI   Sep 10, 2017

Run the Hockeytown 5K and come dressed in your favorite Red Wings jerseys and apparel and stroll down an incredible waterfront course along Atwater Street and the Riverfront Trail which ends under the video board at Joe Louis Arena.

Red Wings players and alumni will be in attendance along the course and inside the arena to cheer you on throughout the entire experience, and all finishers will receive a one-of-a-kind commemorative medal.

Then, stick around for the post-race 5K Festival which includes special photo opportunities with retired jersey and championship banners, autograph signings, interactive hockey games, prize giveaways, face painters, balloon twisters, caricaturists and more!

Anyone wishing to watch family or friends in the race are more than welcome to attend. There will be spectator areas at the start and finish lines, and at various spots along the course.The Gordie Howe Entrance and the West Press doors will open for all guests into the Joe. There is no charge for entry into the Joe for spectators.

All spectators are also welcome to attend the 5K Festival immediately following the Hockeytown 5K.
