Hilo to Volcano 50K Ultra and Team Relay Hilo, HI   Jan 4, 2025

The Hilo to Volcano 50K ultra and team relay is a challenging 31 mile Run. The run starts at the Hilo Coconut Island parking lot. This course utilizes shoulders on Hwy 11 and finishes at the Cooper Center in Volcano. This is a challenging run from sea level to about 4000 ft. Team runners change runners every 2 miles at the even mile markers. There are no aid stations so runners need to bring their own water and nourishment.
