Relive the glory days of head banging music at the Headbanger Half + there’s a distance for everyone – 5K, 10K & 1/2 marathon. Not up to running, but want to celebrate head banging from the past? We have a 2 mile walk for you. We even have a Little Banger 1K run that is free!

Course 
It doesn’t get much flatter than the paved Bugline Trail 🛣️. This fast, tree-lined route offers plenty of shade 🌳, with stretches that run alongside scenic quarry views. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings, the Bugline delivers a smooth and scenic run from start to finish.

On the half course there are train tracks at mile 3.75. Do not race the train! It is much faster and bigger than you. We will have timing mats on both sides of the tracks so your time will be accurate. Think of it as taking a break from the mosh pit without punishment when you get back in it.
