Come join us for the annual Harvest 5K in Allentown, Pennsylvania’s beautiful Cedar Beach Parkway. The course is mostly paved around a running creek. Water stations will be available at every mile, and expect cheering squads at every crossroads.

All proceeds will benefit the students of the Central Elementary School of Allentown PA on 9th Street and Turner. Central Elementary is one of 15 elementary schools located in the city of Allentown. Most of its students are very poor with 89% of families classified as Low Income, and everyone receives Free/Reduced Lunch. It serves a community with a poverty rate of 38.64% of the City’s population. (2013 Census).

We aim to raise $5,000 to help restore the school’s playground, replace benches and picnic tables. The playground is heavily used, not only by the school, but also by the community.
