Located 15 minutes from Charlottesville, Albemarle CiderWorks provides an amazing 5K trail run experience. The course features one long, gradual hill. Make it up and it’s smooth sailing to the finish line where a cold, hard cider awaits!
What started off as a fun idea to celebrate Albemarle CiderWorks has turned into an annual event that welcomes spring! Dash 3.1 miles through the orchard in pursuit of a yummy glass of hard cider! All participants of The Hard Cider Run will enjoy a picturesque 5K run or walk before enjoying a complimentary glass of the good stuff. After, stick around and enjoy a great afternoon at the cidery!
Feeling adventurous and, um, hungry? Add on The Hungry Apple Challenge when signing up! We’ll have donut stations at every mile-marker for you to enjoy a scrumptious treat. After you cross the finish line, you’ll receive the standard finisher’s medal as well as the exclusive Hungry Apple Challenge medal!
Be sure to invite friends and create a team of 4+, as each team member will save $5. Cider, springtime, and friends. Does it get any better?
