EVENT DISCONTINUED. From race website: “Love athletes, we are sorry to inform you that there are problems with the further continuation of the indoor marathon. So in 2020 we will not do an indoor marathon.

We can no longer afford the indoor marathon at the desired conditions…. We can not and will not increase the starting fees for the indoor marathon even more and we do not see a savings potential. This would be at the expense of quality and experience content. Thus, another tradition in Lusatia is likely to be lost.”

The Hallen Marathon is a three-day indoor event that takes place in the legendary Niederlausitzhalle sports hall of Senftenberg. 751 athletes participated across the 3 days, representing Slovenia, Bulgaria, Austria, France, Great Britain, Sweden and Germany. There are many events to choose from ranging from 100km to a 3000 meters.
