Green Monster Trail Challenge

A trail challenge designed for both runners and hikers of all ages, the Green Monster Trail Challenge showcases the mountains of the Tioga State Forest located in Wellsboro, PA.

One Darn Tough Mountain Race… the Green Monster is a trail challenge designed for both runners and hikers of all ages offering a 25k, 50k, and an all new for 2016 15k option – all of which are sponsored by Darn Tough Vermont. This course is nestled in the mountains of the Tioga State Forest just North of the PA Grand Canyon and is the mission of the Tyoga Running Club to showcase the beauty and difficulty of this terrain. You will be confronted with challenging single track trails, steep climbs, and technical descents all of which are very unforgiving. You will also find several dicey stream crossings and an occasional log in which you will have to hurdle. This course is not for the faint of heart and will challenge the most conditioned athlete!
