Green Lake Area Half Marathon and 5K

The Green Lake Area Half Marathon features 13.1 miles of beautiful wooded & lakeshore scenery. The course takes runners through the City of Green Lake and west along wooded lanes and the breath-taking shoreline of Green Lake. A good portion of the race route includes a tour through the lovely Green Lake Conference Center with its many historic structures and extensive stone walls dating back to the Victor and Jessie Lawson era in the early 1900s. Emerald green manicured golf courses and magnificent lake homes are part of the eye candy in this race.

The family friendly 5K Run/Walk route (3.1 miles) begins at the Chamber office and also includes beautiful views of BIG Green Lake. Runners head west through the City of Green Lake. With the gorgeous shoreline to their left and lovely homes to the right, they run past Hattie Sherwood Park, the historic Norton’s Restaurant and beyond, before turning back to finish at Deacon Mills Park.
