Great West Chase

Since 2002, The Great West Chase and its amazing sponsors have hosted a competitive field of racers, walkers, families, and kids from all over Tampa Bay. Organized by WOW magazine, this year’s races benefit Town and Country Elementary School. One hundred percent of their net proceeds will support math and literacy programs at a local school.

The Great West Chase now sees over 1,300 runners in three different races—a 10K, 5K and Fun Run. The Great West Chase is a USATF/RRTC nationally certified 10K Run (Certification Code FL14089EBM), 5K Run/Walk (Certification Code FL-14088EBM) and Fun Run.

The 10K start and finish lines are in the Village Plaza in West Park Village at the corner of Brompton Drive and Montague Street in the heart of beautiful Westchase in Northwest Hillsborough County. The 10k race will be two loops of the 5k course which proceeds westward along Linebaugh Avenue before turning at Radcliffe Drive and returning along the same scenic route.
