We can’t wait to share this beautiful NC State Park with you! Get ready to add a new Eastern Carolina trail event to your fall calendar! These beginner friendly trails are highlighted with boardwalks and Spanish Moss. The slightly rolling terrain allows for PR’s in every distance. This event will feature a 10K Hike, 10K Race, Half Marathon Race, and (in honor of the Park turning 50) a 50K Race! All races will be timed and all finishers who sign up in time will earn a sustainable wood medal.

The Start/Finish is at the back of the park near the river beach access.

Aid!
The 10K course will have one water only aid station around the halfway point.

The Half will have water only around miles 3 and 9. Also full aid around mile 6.

The 50K will pass a bathroom/water fountain, water only station, full aid station, and another bathroom spread out over each of the four loops.

Courses!
All distances are on trails and get to pass multiple views including the beach!

10K is one loop with one paved road crossing.

Half is two loops with two paved road crossings.

50K is four loops with each including an out and back section and four paved road crossings. (This is the only distance that gets to experience the Palmetto Boardwalk!)
