Go Hard or Go Home Half Marathon

The Go Hard or Go Home Half Marathon is an annual event that celebrates the life of a great young runner from the neighborhood that ran with the best of them and honed his crafted on the pavements of Brooklyn. Sammy Lazhir was a gifted runner that embraced running at an early age and he blossomed into an elite runner from high school into college.

This challenging yet scenic course will be 3 full loops of Prospect Park and 1 loop of the northern half of the course. You will start running west along Center Drive onto West Drive and follow 3 loops of the outer ring of Prospect Park. As you finish your third loop you will once again enter Center Drive completing one more counter clockwise loop of the northern half of the park. You will finish back on Center Drive where you can collect your MEDALS and bask in your accomplishments (Don’t worry, we will have people out there making sure you don’t get lost). Water stations will be found approximately every 1.5 miles making sure you maintain adequate hydration.

After you all kick butt in the half marathon we will provide bagels, chips, cookies and water at the finish line. Please hang out and bask in the pre-Super Bowl fun.
