Welcome to the Get Lucky 50/50 Race! 50-mile, 50k, and (not quite as lucky) 25k
WHAT YOU GET
We provide a well organized race put on by runners for runners. Expect a fun race with well-supplied Aid Stations equipped with what you need. You’ll receive a swag bag at check in, a long sleeve race tech t-shirt, and a finisher’s medal. Most importantly, you’ll get a great sense of accomplishment when you finish!
THE COURSE
There are three races: a 50k out and back race or a 50-mile out and back race, and a 25k out and back race, all traveling along the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath Trail. The Race will at St. Helena park in Canal Fulton. The 50k runners will follow the towpath to Navarre for the 50k turn around and the 50 mile runners will travel all the way to Bolivar for their turn around point. Runners will have a total of 15-hours in which to complete the race.
AID STATIONS
Along the way there will be well-supplied Aid Stations at approximately the 5, 10, 15, 22, 25, 28, 35, 40 and 45-mile marks of the race. At the 50-mile turn around enjoy a beer and some great Aid Station food supplied by Sublime Smoke Fine BBQ and Craft Brew. (See below for specifics of each Aid Station.)
DROP BAGS
The 50-mile race will have one drop bag location available for runners at the Sublime Aid Station (25-mile turn around). Drop bags can be dropped off before the race in the designated location close to the line.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the Top Overall Winners for both male and female, as well as male and female age group awards for 19 years and under, 20-45 years, and the Masters (45 years and over). Every runner will also receive a Finisher’s Medal as they complete their race.
