Garmin Marathon Durham will highlight the bustling area, including some historic landmarks and the college atmosphere of the community. There is urban heritage, rolling hills and trails included in this Boston Marathon qualifier course design.

Course highlights include:

• Start at the historic American Tobacco Campus
• This course is a point-to-point course starting at the American Tobacco Trail and finishing at Duke University
• Scenic Watts Street features landmark buildings and well-preserved early 1900s homes
• Runners will jump on the American Tobacco Trail, full of culture and history
• All distances will finish on Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium on the Duke University campus, with all the pomp and circumstance of a college game day
