Frost Town Trail Fest

The Frost Town Trail Fest celebrates the vast recreational opportunities, beauty, and environmental mission of the RMSC Cumming Nature Center with a challenging 25K or 10K trail run. The routes explore some of the best the Bristol Hills has to offer while exploring newly acquired neighboring landscapes. Participants of either distance of the Frost Town Trail Fest also gain free entry to the Cumming Nature Center Brew Fest happening right near the start/ finish of the race!

The challenging 25K course is a single loop that circumnavigates both the Cumming Nature Center and a newly acquired property managed by The Nature Conservancy. A steep winding ascent and then descent through historic logging roads initiate 25K runners to this stout cross terrain trail challenge. Next, after traversing through the well maintained and traveled Cumming Nature Center Trail system, runners navigate through well marked but less travelled and more rugged terrain across the Rattlesnake Hill ridge line East of Lake Honeoye. Well placed aid stations will be available at approximately 4 mile intervals for a total of three on course support stations.

For a quicker and less remote challenge, the 10K course is the best of the RMSC Cumming Nature Center trail system. Less elevation gain and a more runnable course make this a great first 10k or a fast trail loop for seasoned trail runners.
