The Floripa International Marathon is one of the most beautiful marathon in Brazil, with a course that is 80% flat and at sea level, perfect for achieving personal bests. In 2018, it was considered the fastest marathon in Brazil by Contra Relógio magazine. It is also one of the largest road races in Brazil.

With incredible views of the Beira-Mar Norte and Via Expressa Sul avenues, it is already a highlight on the national running calendar. Due to its course characteristics, it is often used as a qualifying event for the Boston Marathon. The Marathon and Half Marathon courses have the CBAt Gold Label, and the Marathon will also have the World Athletics Label.
