Don’t be fooled, this beautifully brutal marathon course is a challenge but you’ll finish with high spirits and a medal to remember. A perfect point-to-point, downhill, gorgeous race course running through the Buckhorn & Poudre River Canyons, finishing in a valley at the base of the mountains. Prepare for the first 5 hilly miles of the course & then open up your stride for the next ~21 miles of downhill! Limited to 300 runners.
The wild & scenic half marathon is a great race to run a new PR, your first half, or run for the beauty and the beer! Enjoy the fall scenery along the Cache la Poudre, Colorado’s only designated Wild & Scenic River! Starting at the famous Mishawaka Amphitheater, run on a downhill point-to-point course to finish in a field of dreams where beer and music flow and runners spirits soar. Invite your friends & family, don’t miss the experience!
Fast or festive? You choose how you want to run the 5 Mile race. Push yourself past the 5K and run a unique race distance. Starting at Gateway Natural Area take in beautiful views & enjoy the changing of the autumn leaves. The downhill point-to-point course joins the marathon and half marathon route, but you will get you to the finish line party first! The finish line crew will be anticipating your finish with medals and pint cups ready for your triumphant arrival.

This race always awesome. This was my first half marathon and first race outside of a 5k race and I loved it! The scenery was gorgeous. Transportation to the starting line was great and the post race party was great. The medal was a little small and nothing eye-popping but the tech tee was awesome! There is a hill at 8 miles that can be a bit of a stinger and from miles 10 to the finish line is very exposed so be prepared for Colorado sun and heat!
WILL REPEAT

This is the first time for me doing the Fall Equinox and it won’t be the last. Everything was easy from packet pick up to taking the shuttle to and from the start/finish line. Can’t beat the beauty of Poudre Canyon at the end of the summer. Downhill/flat course. Very minimal uphill. Not too drastic of a decline. Only flaw is the road is really sloped. But it is manageable. Highly recommend. GREAT swag!
