El Origen (3-day stage race)

TMX presents this amazing three-consecutive-day race running through one of the most magnificent places of the Andes Mountain Range. This edition will be split between Argentina and Chile. We will run through unbelievable trails! This time we will live the Portillo (Chile) and Aconcagua (Argentina) experience in an awesome way, the unique way The Origin can offer.

The race course will take you through immense valleys, steep ridges, swampy areas, mule trails and the old trans-Andean railway. Throughout the race course, runners will be accompanied by snow-capped peaks and glaciers, as well as the impressive view of the Aconcagua and the Tolosa Mountains. They will cross the Andes through the old Cristo Redentor pass, and run by the Inca Bridge, Durazno Bridge, Juncal Glacier and Inca Lake.

The Organization Team’s headquarters will be located in Portillo. In addition to the traditional camp, we will offer multiple accommodation options where we will keep the classic The Origin camaraderie spirit!
