The Dolphin Coast Marathon is the iconic Marathon event that runs from Ballito to Durban down the M4 Coastal highway.

The race is an ideal qualifying Marathon for Comrades. The 42KM and Cycle Race start in Ballito, the 21Km at Sibaya Casino and the 10km at the Virginia Sports Centre Durban North. All routes follow the M4 to Durban, turn off at the Durban Country Club and finish at the Amphitheatre on the Durban Promenade.
