DICK’S House of Sport is hosting our annual 5K Run and 1K Walk! Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome at this event. This is not just a race but a fun community event where all participants and families will get the opportunity to interact with local vendors, play games in our activity area, capture the moment at our photobooth and more! All while raising money for a great cause.
Race proceeds benefit the DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation Sports Matter program, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation with a mission to inspire and enable sports participation. These funds fuel grants that are given back to our local community! SPORTS CHANGE LIVES We believe that sports change lives. In addition to physical and mental health benefits, sports have the power to change our perspectives, our character, and our communities for the better. This belief has guided DICK’S Sporting Goods and The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation since the beginning – but not everyone has the same access to play. Through grants and other support, The DICK’S Foundation helps under-resourced 501c3 organizations, schools, and community teams across all 50 states provide opportunities for youth to play sports.
