Your heart is beating fast inside your chest, sweat is glistening in the morning sun, heart is pounding, adrenaline is pumping, endorphins raging. You cross the finish line and the feeling of joy and victory sweep over you. You’re handed a glass of sparking cold champagne, a table of healthy treats awaits you. The breeze blows through your hair as the sounds of deep base and melodic musical notes begins to flow from the patio speakers. You sit back on the lounge chair, look around at all your friends smiling and dancing. It’s the morning of December 31st and you think to yourself “WOW, now THIS is how you kick off the new year!!!”
Sprint into 2019 on a euphoric “runners high”!!! Kick off the new year with us at our Delray Half Marathon! Race begins and ends at the delicious Local Greens. After the race, enjoy their beautiful indoor and outdoor lounge, champagne, mimosas, healthy food, ice cold smoothies, music, raffles, giveaways and of course BADASS fitness people all around you!
Almost the entire course is run along Delray Beach’s beautiful A1A with views to the ocean and intercoastal. The course is completed entirely on the sidewalks with minimal main street crossovers. There will be no street closures on the route. Public restrooms are available at the corner of A1A and Atlantic Ave.
