Delaware Distance Classic 15K & 5K

The Delaware Distance Classic 15K & 5K is a flat and fast out-and-back course on Jack Markell paved trail. A USATF 15k Championship and Grand Prix Event.

The DDC 5K Run/Walk: this mostly out and back course will be flat and fast with scenic views of the protected watershed.

Awesome swag for pre-registered participants, with great refreshments after the race. 9am start time for both races. Stick around after the race for the after party.

The Pike Creek Valley Running Club was founded in 1982 by runners who resided in the Pike Creek area of New Castle County, Delaware. The club is dedicated to promoting physical fitness through running. Although comprised primarily of Delaware runners from the Newark and Wilmington areas, members come from other parts of Delaware and surrounding areas of Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
