This October will be the LAST DANCE of the Bucks County Marathon Weekend for the foreseeable future. SO LET’S DANCE, THE LAST DANCE! The start and finish is in the DCNR’s Washington Crossing Historic Park and runs along the towpath on the Delaware Canal State Park. There is a time limit of 3 hours 15 minutes. The course runs on the towpath and in some portions of the course is a narrow ribbon of trail between the Delaware Canal and the Delaware River in bucolic Bucks County. The course is 8 feet wide, and that’s out-and-back (or double-out-and-back), and the parks are open to the public. Especially for this reason please don’t ask if you can run with your very well behaved dog, cat or ferret. You may be joined by Canada geese, whitetail deer, turtles, foxes and more. It is especially cool when the heron shows up. There are portions of the course that are paved blacktop but a majority of the course is packed argillite (like a cinder track). You will receive a CrackedBell commemorative long sleeve tech shirt and other swag.
