All three races WILL be challenging. Races include a mixture of forest service roads and single track. The races will start at 7:30 am. If you are coming north on Ga400, turn left, west, on Dawson Forest Road and continue straight into the Dawson Forest WMA. Main parking lot is on the right.
All participants must fill out a separate race waiver for the wildlife management area on race morning. The course will be well marked with turn signs and volunteers as well.
Directions
Do not google Dawson Forest WMA and use that for directions! The Dawson Forest WMA is a huge tract of land and the point where that directions will take you is miles away from the race.
Directions from Hwy 400: Take Hwy 400 North or South depending upon starting location to the Dawsonville Outlet mall Red Light. (Turn Left (West) if traveling North or Right (West) if traveling South onto Dawson Forest Road.) Continue straight for approximately 3.8 miles until the intersection/stop sign. Proceed straight through intersection for approximately 1 mile to South entrance gate. It was really a great race , it’s still on the small side and I like that. The trail was fun but it was hard at first to really get going because of the single track at first but thru the woods there is more space. I for sure will run it again the medal and T shirt is really cute too.
