Darren Dash Austin, MN   Oct 13, 2019

This annual event will honor the life of Austin native and running enthusiast, Darren Lewis. (1973-2011) All events will start and end at Lafayette Park located in Austin, MN. Event will be chip timed and participants will receive a tee shirt (register before October 11 for guaranteed shirt).

The half marathon will start at 8:00 am and the 5K will start at 8:15 am. Water stops and post race refreshments will be provided for all participants. Kiddie Run to take place at 11:00 am. Awards will be given to top 3 runners in each age group for the 5K and all finishers for the half marathon will be given a Darren Dash finisher medal.

Proceeds from this event will go to a scholarship fund for Austin Cross Country runners and for programs committed to improving mental and physical health in the community. Darren Dash has given out over $13,000 in scholarships to date.
