Cross County Trail Marathon and Half Marathon

The Cross County Trail Marathon and Half Marathon will take place in its entirety in Virginia on the Cross County Trail surfaced by asphalt, pavement, crushed stone, and dirt. More information on the race is below. Come and join us for fun running on a super trail!!!

The course is a fast one. The course surface is a combination of concrete, asphalt, dirt, and gravel with most of the course being asphalt and concrete. The race uses 6.56 miles of the Cross County Trail so marathoners run two loops of the course, and half marathoners run one loop of the course. There is about 440 feet of elevation gain and loss in the half marathon, and 880 feet of gain and loss in the marathon.

Run the VA/DC double by also running the C&O Canal Towpath Marathon and Half Marathon in September, or run all five races in the Altis Mid-Atlantic Marathon and Half Marathon Series by running Saturday to Wednesday in VA, DC, WV, MD, and PA.
