Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-timer, the Cottage Grove Half Marathon & 10K offers an unforgettable journey through one of Oregon’s most beautiful regions. Lace up your running shoes and join for a celebration of fitness, community, and the great outdoors!

The event features a fast and flat point-to-point 13.1-mile run/walk along the scenic Row River Trail.  The Row River Trail is a 15.6-mile, paved, multi-use National Recreation Trail following the route of the now-abandoned Oregon Pacific & Eastern Railroad line, along the scenic shores of the Row (rhymes with ‘cow’) River and Dorena Reservoir. Several quaint, covered bridges are located nearby, as is the historic Bohemia Mining Area, which features remnants of late 1800s gold mines. Movies filmed along the railway include ‘Stand By Me’ with River Phoenix, ‘Emperor of the North’ with Ernest Borgnine, and, in 1926, ‘The General with Buster Keaton!
