Downtown Columbia’s Premier Running Event! Presented by Rip It Events, the Columbia 10 Miler runs along the streets of Columbia, through Merriweather Post Pavilion and around Lake Kittamaqundi. This race is open to men and women and is appropriate for all experience levels including first-timers. A total purse prize of $1,500 will be awarded to top finishers.
The start and finish line are located in the parking lot of the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Columbia, MD. There are 4 aid stations located on the course. Aid stations will have water and Gatorade. Course volunteers and police officers will be at all turning points to guide athletes. The following are prohibited from the race course: pets, baby joggers/strollers, in-line skates, bicycles, and any other non-official wheeled vehicles.
Take the City Challenge – complete both the Columbia 10 Miler on April 22 and the St. Mary’s 10 Miler on April 29 to earn a City Challenge finisher medal!
Athletes Serving Athletes (ASA) is the Official Charity of the 2018 Columbia 10 Miler. ASA brings people together to experience the joy, excitement, and thrill of competition.
