Colchester Half Marathon Colchester, United Kingdom   Mar 16, 2025

The Colchester Half Marathon has become established as one of the biggest and best races in the region. Organised by a group of volunteers from Colchester Colne Round Table, alongside some dedicated individuals from the Colchester community, the team that bring you the race work throughout the year to ensure you have a great race day experience.

We think our race is special. The Colchester Half Marathon was conceived with a few simple objectives:
– To bring an amazing mass-participation race to the streets of Colchester that engages local runners, local businesses and the local community
– To provide a fun race for runners and spectators whilst also a having a great town and country course that’s got real PB potential (we’ve had the odd GB Olympian athlete run over the years).
– To raise lots of money for Colchester- based charities; we all give our time freely and are entirely not-for-profit. All race proceeds are donated to local charities.

To date the race has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for local charities. These have included MSUK, Headway, The Robin Cancer Trust Robin and the Tom Bowdridge Foundation.
