Cindy’s Fund Deep Creek Lake Loop

The annual Cindy’s Fund race consists of 3 races:

10 Mile Loop: Start in front of the beautiful water in Deep Creek State Park and head out onto the road for a looped course surrounding the lake. This course has rolling hills and will take you on Meadow Mtn. Lane, State Park Rd, Rock Lodge Rd, Rt. 219, and Glendale Rd. Run over the Rt. 219 bridge and the Glendale bridge as part of the course. This route finishes back in Deep Creek State Park. Three hydration stations will be set up along the course.

*There will be a 3 hour time limit for the 10 mile run. All participants must cross the finish line by 11:30 a.m. This time limit maxes out at an average of 18 minutes per mile.

*Separate awards will be held for the 10 mile run and the 5K/1 mile races. This will prevent 1 mile/5K participants from having to wait until the 10 mile run is completed.

5K Run: Start in front of the beautiful water in Deep Creek State Park and head out of the park for a somewhat challenging combination of road and trail. This route will take you out Meadow Mtn. Lane, onto State Park Rd, up to Meadow Mtn. Trail, into the campground area, and back down into Deep Creek State Park to finish.

1 Mile Walk: Start and finish in front of the beautiful water in Deep Creek State Park. This route is entirely in the park. Stroller friendly.
