The CHaD HERO is the premier fundraising and athletic event benefiting CHaD, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. What began as a half marathon has grown into a community-powered festival that brings together runners, walkers, families, and friends, all united for one mission: to support the kids and programs at Dartmouth Health Children’s and the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD).

From the signature Half Marathon to a competitive 5K Run, a fun and friendly 5K Walk, plus the crowd-favorite “Cam’s Course” 1-Mile Fun Run, there’s something for every HERO.

In over 20 incredible years, the CHaD HERO has raised more than $11.6 million. These funds fuel vital programs and medical care for our region and at New Hampshire’s only children’s hospital. This isn’t just a race – it’s a celebration of community, courage, and the belief that every child deserves a chance to thrive.
