Capt’n Karl’s Trail Series is the original and longest running night trail series in the country. The event at Muleshoe Bend is the SECOND event in the series, approximately 40 miles northwest of Austin in picturesque Spicewood, TX.

Muleshoe Bend is located on the scenic Lower Colorado River, Lake Travis region. This course is challenging, rocky and technical trail with approx 2600 feet of elevation gain for the 60k course. These trails are deceptively tough, with the heat and humidity making Muleshoe Bend a worthy adversary. This is primarily due to the thick foliage and heavy wood, creating a peaceful environment and no wind. Get ready to sweat.
