Cancer Chomp 5K Gainesville, FL   Oct 25, 2025

Join us for the annual Cancer Chomp, an event presented by the Preston A. Wells Jr. Center for Brain Tumor Therapy at the University of Florida in conjunction with the Lillian S. Wells Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida.

Hosted at the UF Cancer & Genetics Research Complex, this event will include a 5K, Kid Zone, charitable organizations, mini horses, a variety of UF Health services, the UF Gator Band, and other special guests.

This event is free to attend though there is a small fee to participate in the 5K. The route goes around Lake Alice on the beautiful UF Campus.

All proceeds from Cancer Chomp will go to support our patients and their families receiving brain tumor treatment (lodging assistance, gas cards, help with medication copays, etc).
