Canal Corridor 100

The Canal Corridor 100 Mile Endurance course runs through existing portions of the exceptionally beautiful Towpath Trail in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cleveland, Akron, and Canton, Ohio. The course is FAST, FLAT, and SCENIC suitable for anyone looking to complete their first 100 miler or a seasoned veteran who is going after the 100 miles PR. Aid stations are staffed by experienced ultra runners in Northeast Ohio who will make sure runners receive proper aid and care. An expected field of 150 runners is anticipated. Profits from this event will be donated to the Conservancy for the Cuyahoga National Park, Canalway Partners and the Ohio and Erie Canal Coalition, non-profit organizations that oversee and help maintain the trail systems in Northeast Ohio.

Although our goal is and has been to create a point-to-point 100-mile course using the towpath, continuing enhancements to the trail along with the subsequent closures of the towpath for these improvements cause us the revise the 2020 course. For the safety of the runners, crew and friends, the 4th Annual Canal Corridor 100 Mile Endurance Run , will be an out and back course, starting and finishing in Akron at Missing Falls Brewery in Canal Place.
