Caesar Creek Trail Stage Race #1: Frosty 14 Waynesville, OH   Feb 20, 2021 (CANCELED, 2022 TBD)

Starting at the visitor center, the Frosty 14 course travels across the dam first (.7 miles road with large gravel shoulder) to the spillway single track. A short climb into the gorge trail, to the creek crossing (you probably will get wet). You will run through a small village, run on an abandoned road, some nice old growth, and some ugly new growth. At mile 5.5 or so, you will hit SR73 for a 1 mile road run to the 6.5 mile section to the finish… which is 96.49343% single track and rolling. Due to the season, weather can be a factor making the Frosty a real challenge.

Homemade chili as well as a vegetarian version will be served after the race. Aid station with water and Tailwind at approximately mile 5.5. Please be aware that to eliminate waste, paper cups will only be available at manned aid station (approximately 8 miles in). The unmanned aid stations will have water jugs but no cups. Please carry a water bottle with you. Tailwind will be available at manned aid station only.

There is a 5-hour cutoff for timing and amenities on this race (for the safety of our volunteers given the typically cold weather), however, participants are welcome to start the race earlier (remember to still check in!) and self-time so that they get in before 2 p.m.
