The aim of the Bunbury Runners Club is to provide the best, enjoyable supportive running festival for you all. The Bunbury 3 Waters Running Festival is well known for its relaxed friendly atmosphere which is perfect for the first timer who’s looking for a no-pressure race, yet is still a course that is challenging to the experienced distance runner. The course weaves itself along the shores of Bunbury’s natural aquatic scenery!
The course is designed to showcase Bunbury’s natural assets. It is called the 3 Waters Running Festival because it takes in the Leschenault Inlet, Koombana Bay and the Indian Ocean. For good measure we’re including the Bunbury Big Swamp a conservation wetland and wildlife sanctuary, located one kilometre south of the Bunbury city centre.
Runners in the marathon, ultra-marathon, half marathon run and walk, will receive a commemorative medal. Significant cash prizes for event winners and cash spot prizes might be of interest too.
