Bullshit Backyard Ultra

The Bullshit Backyard Ultra follows the now well-established Backyard Ultra format. Runners will traverse 4.167 miles each hour until there is only a single runner left. Starting at 7am, the day loop will be run for 12 hours before switching over to the night loop. The day loop explores roughly 70 acres of farmland including cow pastures, hayfields, woodlands, and the Tunkhannock Creek. The night loop consists of a double track loop through the hayfield and a flat out and back on the road. Attempts will be made to keep the livestock off of the course proper during the race.

Registration
Runners from previous BSBUs will be given first dibs at registration before we open the remaining spots up to the public.

The Yard
The Bullshit Backyard Ultra follows the traditional Backyard format of having a day and night loop. The day loop will be run for 12 hours during the light of the day before switching over to the night loop. Both loops are primarily on trail, but the night loop is on much easier terrain around the hay field which allows spectators to see the runners for most of the loop.
