The mile is an iconic distance. Unique in its ability to stoke the fire of the most competitive runner, but also in its wide appeal to people of all abilities and experience levels. The course itself is super-fast and exhilarating. Personal bests abound for experienced runners, and a unique opportunity for beginners and back-of-the-packers to experience a unique trip and perspective through Williamsburg’s main artery.

Fast 1 mile race in Brooklyn. A lot of fast runners come out and about 1200 for each wave (male, female, masters for each). The swag from Bandit and HOKA make up the registration costs and it is a pretty urban course going on Kent. I’d run it again, spots do sell out quick.
