Breck Crest Mountain Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K Breckenridge, CO   Sep 5–6, 2020

The 2020 Breck Crest will be a Strava-based HALF MARATHON and 10K only; no 23 Mile Trail Marathon this year.
The courses will be marked and ready for racing on Saturday and Sunday. Racers will be able to run their course anytime during this two-day period. Again, to be clear, the courses WILL be marked. There will NOT be any aid stations on course. All racers will need to self-support.

The Breck Crest Trail Runs started in 1995 when some hard core mountain goats working for the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center conjured up this awesome event. After the big snow year in 2005, the BOEC decided to move away from the event and we took up the torch after a one year hiatus.

The Breck Crest is quintessential Breckenridge. There’s something special about tackling the “thing” you look up at everyday… the beautiful Ten Mile Range is our backdrop and this course brings you smack into the heart of it.

Note: The actual distance for the Marathon is 23 miles. For the purists out there wanting a true Marathon…believe me…when you get done with this race, you’ll be glad it was a bit short.
