Well done inaugural race! Beautiful location around Sloan lake with the mountain view in the distance. The course I’m sure was easy for some but the altitude kicked my butt being from Minnesota. This was my first time running in Colorado. I still placed in my age group though! The expo was great la lot of informative booths based on mental wellness with a lot of freebies. The atmosphere was fun and festive, there were a lot more participants than I expected, a decent size race. The swag was awesome, loved the tee and medal design with mountains in the background. Mugs and treats were awarded to top 3 finishers in 10 year increment age groups. I would do this again if back in Denver visiting my kiddo.

Well done inaugural race! Beautiful location around Sloan lake with the mountain view in the distance. The course I’m sure was easy for some but the altitude kicked my butt being from Minnesota.
