Boots and Brews 5K

Celebrate spring in Maine! The annual Boots and Brews 5K celebrates the past and future of Freeport—a gem of Maine’s coast!

The Boots and Brews 5K is a timed race for serious runners, but family-friendly. Run/walk/skip around Downtown Freeport, then enjoy a free beer at the After Party.

From its shoemaking past (in addition to L. L. Bean, Freeport was once home to over 30 shoe and boot factories!) to its current status as a craft beer destination, Freeport has so many stories to tell.

Join us for a 5K downtown, stick around to sample brews from across town (featuring Brickyard Hollow, Gritty McDuff’s, Maine Beer Company, and Mast Landing Brewing), and get outdoors in Freeport, Maine!

All net proceeds support the Greater Freeport Chamber of Commerce, a 501 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and connecting local business owners in Freeport, Durham, and Pownal, Maine.
