Bikers can’t have ALL the fun! Two years ago we added the opportunity to compete in an ultramarathon distance. This year we decided to add a 3-person 50K relay event, so bring your canopies and lawn chairs and hang out with us all day! Choose from our 10 mile, 20 mile, or 50k option on a beautiful, yet challenging trail. Mostly narrow, but well-marked trail full of ups, downs, twists, turns, and wooden bridges.
Snacks and water provided at 3 miles, 7 miles, and at the finish. Lots of seating at and around the pavilion, but you may want to bring lawnchairs to guarantee a seat. Great family environment so plan to stay and visit a while! Parking is somewhat limited, so carpooling is a good idea!
Just Google “Mt. Zion Bike Trails” and you’ll find nothing but rave reviews from those who have visited.
Mt. Zion Bike Trails were created for the purpose of promoting health and fitness while enjoying God’s creation of the outdoors. The trails provide a safe, fun, beautiful venue for mountain bikers and hikers of any age or fitness level, for recreational and training for competitive purposes. The trails are built to compliment their natural surroundings and allow the beauty of nature to be seen by those who use them.
The trails are open to the public with no required fee, but donations are accepted in a kiosk at the trail head. Profits from this run will be used for upkeep and improvements of the trail.
If this run is your first visit to Mt. Zion Bike Trails, it probably won’t be your last!
