Bluegrass Reaper Challenge

Don’t Fear The Reaper. Fear The Clock! It’s a unique endurance challenge for all runners. 2.6 miles per lap. 40 minutes per lap. 5 distances to choose from. Pick your strategy and try to outlast the heat at the Bluegrass Reaper Challenge road race.

A twist on the backyard ultra, the Bluegrass Reaper Challenge is a unique endurance running event for runners of all experience, skill, or interest levels. With 5 options to choose from, this is the perfect event to enjoy a day of running with friends in the beautiful city of Berea in central Kentucky.

How It Works:
– Laps start every 40 minutes beginning at 11am with the 50K.
– Complete the lap in under 40 minutes and wait until the next lap starts.
– The fast you run, the more time you have to rest.

We have a great venue for this race, and we encourage everyone to come out and spend the weekend in Berea. On race day, bring your pop up tent, lawn chairs, and whatever else you need to get through the day. We will set up our “tent city” in the football field next to the start/finish line!

All participants receive a race shirt or hat.

Everyone will receive a participant medal when they check in. For each lap you complete, we will add a “token” to your medal. The more laps you run, the bigger your medal at the end of the day!
