Black River Trail Run

The Black River Trail Run promises to be a fun packed Saturday in mid-May with running events held on the beautiful Black River Trail on the outskirts of Watertown, NY followed by a post race celebration at Maggie’s on the River. Maggie’s will be offering complimentary soups, beer specials and live music starting at 11am.

This event is part of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Family Fit Running Series so you can anticipate terrific awards for overall as well as age group winners. As a Willow Running event, we guarantee to combine fun and run to make your overall experience a rewarding one!

Once again, this year’s Black River Trail event will benefit the Volunteer Transportation Center, a not for profit whose mission is to provide transportation to health, wellness and critical needs destinations utilizing volunteers and mobility management for anyone who has barriers to transportation.

The Black River Trail is smooth, flat, and well maintained making it ideal for a fast pace running event. It has numerous scenic views and overlooks the Black River as you move along the paved trail. All 3 race events will start on the Eastern Entrance of the Trail at the intersection of Rutland St./Route 3 in the Village of Black River.
