Back on My Feet Running Festival (virtual)

The 2021 Back on My Feet Running Festival, presented by BBI, is a mash-up of our most beloved races we have hosted across the country over the years rolled into one amazing running experience! This virtual race will bring together thousands of runners across the country in support of our mission. We pulled the most popular distances from our long-standing races to give participants an assorted menu of miles that appeals to athletes of all levels.

The Back on My Feet Marathon Relay is a unique race in which participants run a full marathon (26.2 miles)! Join forces with friends to form teams of 2-6 and take turns completing the 2.2-mile loop around White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis. Music, snacks, friendly competition and the BEST time you’ll have going 26.2 guaranteed!

Teams are encouraged to bring pop-up tents and join the celebration taking place around the exchange zone. Thanks to BIMBO Bakery and Piazza Produce, participants can enjoy bagels, donuts, fruit and other treats before the race or between legs, along with hydration stations every mile.

Proceeds from the Marathon Relay will benefit the Indianapolis Chapter of Back on My Feet. The Marathon Relay is the second biggest fundraising event for the Indianapolis Chapter. The money raised at the Relay will directly benefit the Back on My Feet Indianapolis’ program initiative. Back on My Feet combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources.
