Beautiful Island with lots of things to do, visit and eat. We came to Aruba to check out South America in our quest to run a marathon on all the continents.
The race started at 3:15am there is a 6 hours time limit so be aware. When the sun comes up at 7am it gets hot. Two 13.1 miles loops, bring your hydration packs and salt tabs.

It started at 3:15 am to avoid the heat, was a two-loop course (mostly flat except for hill near the lighthouse) — plenty of support. Did I mention it was hot? It was nice before the sun came up — but once the sun rose — not a lot of shade. It was pretty, and a good “vacation” run — but don’t expect a PR. I would do it again.
