Start the holiday season off even merrier and get your family, best buddies, or coworkers to run with you! Deck yourselves out in your Santa suits, or design your own unique costumes. Join the 2,000 others to form a sea of Santas.

The Santa Run is held by the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights to raise funds. To date, the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights has donated over $250,000 to worthy causes throughout Arlington Heights and neighboring communities, directly as a result of the Santa Run. Whether you have run in the past, or are a first time runner, you should be proud of your involvement in this annual holiday tradition.

The Arlington Heights Rotary Santa Run is a chip-timed 5K Run/Walk along with a Reindeer Run for kids 10 and under. Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to jolly themselves up in Santa suits and race a 5 kilometer, traffic-free course in the heart of Arlington Heights. There will also be a 1 mile walk for those who prefer a Santa stroll. This year, Santa will know who’s naughty and nice and who’s sluggish or speedy.

Stick around after the race for music and merriment. Immediate Race Results are available to share over a drink at one of our many downtown restaurants.

The Reindeer Run, for kids 10 and under, takes place prior to each year’s Rotary Santa run. The Reindeer Run covers a short, 4-block course. Kids are never out of sight.
