Drew’s Angel Creek 50 Miler & 50K

Drew’s Angel Creek 50 (DAC50) consists of friendly, low-key and challenging 50-mile and 50K point-to-point races, near Fairbanks, Alaska. The 50 mile will start at Twin Bears Camp (Mile 30 Chena Hot Springs Rd) and finish at Chena Hot Springs Resort (Mile 56.5 Chena Hot Springs Rd). The 50K will start at the Angel Rocks Trailhead parking lot, meet up with the 50 mile course and finish at Chena Hot Springs Resort.

The courses are roughly a 50/50 mix of hard packed trail with good footing and technical sections, mostly along ridge lines, that will challenge even the more experienced trail runners. The course is only road accessible at the start line, finish line, and the Angel Rocks Trailhead.

Drop bags will only be available for the 50-mile race at checkpoints located at miles 30, 42, and at the finish line. Drop bags for the 50K can be left at the start line that is also the 37K/23 mile checkpoint. A shuttle service will be available to transport runners from Chena Hot Springs Resort to the starts.

Don’t forget your suit for a soak in the hot springs after the race!
