American Hero 25K Relay

All events start, make handoffs (relay) and finish to the left of the main building on Verano Pkwy. The American Hero 25K Relay entire course is 5k in length. The open 25k and 25k relay will run the course 5 times. The start faces East on Varano Pkwy and goes straight (East) on Verano toward the railroad tracks turns around and goes west on Verano Way. It makes a right on One University Way and turns around and comes back and makes a right on Verano Way until the turn around back to the Start/Finish.

The Free Spirits Track Club was established to raise funds for scholarships for cancer survivors (and other diseases and child abuse), to recognize our American Heroes and to promote track & field meets, running and athletic events in the San Antonio area. The American Hero 25k Relay was established to raise the funds for the charities and scholarships.
