Almaty Marathon

The Almaty Marathon is the largest running competition in Central Asia, a city sports festival with a main distance of 42.2 km. Registration will close mid-Sept or when the number of participants reaches 15,600, including 100 Ekiden teams.

Almaty the Marathon is among the few international marathons that are charitable: money received from participants for entry fee go to charitable purposes. Almaty Marathon not only promotes a healthy lifestyle and running, it also performs one of the most important social functions, engaging society to social responsibility and allowing each person to contribute to a good cause.
